About James:
I have been a Unit Director at Eisenhower Middle School since 2018. I obtained a BS in Social Sciences from Kansas State University. Working with kids is my passion as I have been in the child services field for over 15 years.

What makes BGC Special?
The family atmosphere is a strength we posses here at the Boys and Girls Club of Manhattan KS

What do you like to do when not at work?
Spending time with my children is the highlight of my life.

What's your "Superpower"?
I have been called a kid whisperer. Ability to connect with kids from all backgrounds.

What's your favorite BGC Kid quote?
"I like the way your head shines"

What do you hope our members take away from you?
Not to Judge a book by its cover. Always put your best foot forward and never forget where you came from.
