How do I apply for the scholarship?
Scholarship applications will be submitted through MyClub Hub while completing a program registration. When completing your registration, select the financial assistance option and complete the related questionnaire. For questions, please contact us at (785) 539-1947 or admin@bgclubmanhattan.com.
What do I need?
To determine scholarship eligibility, we prefer a copy of your most recent tax return. Pay stubs or W-2s can be used as an alternative if a tax return is not available.
How are scholarships determined?
When determining scholarships, we consider two factors: your family's household size (based on information you provide when purchasing an annual membership) and your adjusted gross income. Below is a chart of our scholarship guidelines.

What will my scholarship cover?
Scholarships provide a discount on after-school programs and summer programs. However, scholarships do not apply to membership fees or services such as In-service days and spring break.
When and how will I hear about my application?
We do our best to respond to new applications within 7-10 days. However, peak times, such as fall, spring, or summer registration periods, can cause delays due to the volume of applicants. You will be contacted via email concerning your application, whether we need you to provide more information or we have determined your eligibility.
How does payment work if I'm waiting to hear about my scholarship?
If you are applying for financial assistance and need to register your children, you have the option to choose Pay at Club when signing up for your membership or programs. This option will apply the balance of the purchase to your household account, ensuring your children are enrolled correctly and allowing time for scholarships or waivers to be applied. Your child IS allowed to attend Club activities, even if you are waiting to finalize your scholarship and payment.
