About Hannah:
I began my career at the Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan in 2008 and progressed to the Director of Program Development during my tenure. I was able to work with youth directly and learn from some of the best leaders during my time in Manhattan. In 2012, I moved to the Kansas City area and started working at the Boys & Girls Club of Kansas City. During my time in Kansas City, I was able to work with youth who were striving for greatness, against all odds. I made a career switch in 2014 to work in the grants management and resource development field at the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence as the Director of Grants. I was able to learn about impacting youth in an indirect way by working with grantors and funders that really love kids and understand that the advocacy of resources in crucial to our work.

I made it back to Manhattan in June 2022 for the CEO role. I am thrilled to be back in The Little Apple, at the organization that gave me my BGC start!

I have a Bachelors in Psychology from Kansas State University and my Masters in Business Management from Baker University.

It has been a wonderful 15 years working in BGC's and I look forward to many more years of impact in the Manhattan community.

What makes BGC special?

The people. The staff, kids and families make this a really special place to be. I love everything about Boys & Girls Club.

What do you like to do when not at work?

I love spending time with my daughter, Joelle, and husband, Eric. We love to read, go on walks, visit the lake and spend time with our families!

What's your "Superpower"?

My superpower is to empower my team!

What's your favorite BGC Kid quote?

"The Boys & Girls Club changed my life." I have had the privilege of having multiple young people tell me this over the years and it never gets old. I love that I am able to be a part of something so big in a child's life!

What do you hope our members take away from you?

I hope the youth are able to see a hard working team of adults that support them in everything they do. I want all kids to feel welcome at Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan!
