Important Update: Reduced Family Fees for the 2026–2027 School Year
USD 383 and the Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan have enjoyed a strong partnership for many years,
providing valuable before- and after-school opportunities for students throughout our district. This
collaboration has allowed students to access quality programming in familiar school settings while
supporting families with childcare and enrichment options.
As part of this ongoing partnership, USD 383 is working with the Boys & Girls Club to expand
after-school academic support programs at seven elementary schools: Amanda Arnold, Marlatt,
Oliver Brown, Lee, Theodore Roosevelt, Frank V. Bergman, and Ogden Elementary. Through district
support, monthly fees for participating students at these schools will be reduced to $50 per month
per student. Scholarship support provided through philanthropic contributions is available when
completing the Boys & Girls Club online registration.
Boys & Girls Club after-school programs at Woodrow Wilson, Bluemont, Northview Elementary
Schools and the Teen Center will continue to be supported through 21st Century Community
Learning Center grants and will remain available to families at no cost.
These after-school programs provide students with additional academic support and enrichment
opportunities that extend learning beyond the regular school day. The district will utilize at-risk
funding to help support these services and reduce costs for families. This funding will not reduce or
impact any existing district programs or services.
USD 383 and the Boys & Girls Club remain committed to working together to support student
success and provide high-quality opportunities that meet the needs of our students and families.
