Important: 2026–2027 School Year BGC Hours & Family Survey

Posted Wednesday February 11, 2026

Dear BGC USD 383 Families,

We want to share an update to our program hours for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year at the Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan. Beginning this school year, adjusted schedules across the Manhattan–Ogden school district will allow our Club programs even more time to support youth after the school day ends. BGC afterschool programs will continue at all 10 USD 383 elementary schools and at our Teen Center.

New Program Hours for the 2026-2027 school year:

  • Elementary School Programs: 2:30–6:00 p.m.
  • Middle School Programs: 3:50–7:00 p.m. (9:00 p.m. on Fridays)
  • High School Programs: 3:10–7:00 p.m. (9:00 p.m. on Fridays)

These updated hours are designed with our members and families in mind, offering additional time for tutoring, social connection, and fun while continuing to support families in our community.

With this change, we know that many families may be considering enrolling in our programs for the first time, and we look forward to welcoming many new faces to the Club. We are working diligently to prepare to serve additional students.

To better understand the needs of our community, we are distributing a Family Needs Parent Survey for the 2026–2027 school year, in partnership with the district. You can respond to the survey HERE or it will be available as a QR Code at your members school site during BGC parent pickup. This survey will help us gather important data on afterschool care needs in our community and guide future program planning. Your participation is incredibly valuable, and we greatly appreciate you taking the time to complete it.

**The survey will remain open through March 31st, and all responses will remain confidential. Thank you for helping us better serve our youth and families.**
