Summer ProgramS

At the Club, we strive to give your child an experience they will remember, through safe, fun and enriching activities with our experienced and trained staff.

Program availability is based upon a first sign-up, first serve basis. 

Food:  Breakfast and snack will be provided at all locations.  Lunch will be provided at all Manhattan Sites. Wamego members may need to bring a sack lunch - TBD.

What site do I attend this summer? This information is for Summer 2024. We work closely with USD 320 and 383 for sites and information for a fun and safe program set-up.

We have 5 sites available this summer, based on which school you attend.

  • 5th Street - Woodrow Wilson, Bergman, Theodore Roosevelt, Manhattan Catholic, and Oliver Brown members

  • Bluemont - Bluemont and Northview members

  • Lee -  Lee, Marlatt, and Amanda Arnold members 

  • Wamego Central - Central & West members

  • EMS Middle School - EMS & AMS members 

** For Elementary students, the last 2 weeks of Club are at 5th St. You will change your location in My Club Hub to 5th St and sign up to attend Session 3 - End of Summer.**

Elementay Summer Hours - 7:30am - 6:00pm

Middle School Summer Hours - 8:00am - 5:30pm

Parents must drop off and pick-up between these times. Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan does not provide pick-up and drop-off transportation.

What dates are available for Summer?

Elementary:

Summer Sessions will be available in three (3) sessions:

Session 1: May 28th, 2024 - June 21st, 2024 

Session 2: June 24th, 2024 - July 19th, 2024

Session 3 : July 22nd, 2024 - August 2nd, 2024 

 

Middle School:

Summer Sessions will be available in two (2) sessions:

Summer Session 1: May 28th, 2024 - June 28th, 2024

Summer Session 2: July 1st, 2024 - August 2nd, 2024

 

What is the cost for Summer:

Elementary:

Summer Session 1: $320

Summer Session 2: $320

Summer Session 3: $160 

 

Middle School:

Session 1: $400

Session 2: $400

Can I sign up by week?

Summer is only available by session. Payment must be made for a full session. We do not allow partial payment for weeks/days you do not attend.

 

How can I make payment?

Payment can be made by credit card online. You have the option to pay in full or to make a payment plan for your account. All summer payment plans must be complete by the last day of summer programs, August 4th.

Reminder that the entire session must be paid. We do not allow any refunds and there is not an option for single week sign-ups.

What will my child do during Boys & Girls Club Summer Program?

Our summer theme is “Let the Games Begin.” Each week we will have programs and activities that support our three pillars: healthy lifestyles, academic success, and good character & citizenship. Sites may at times have speakers or field trips based on weekly activities within our summer theme. We also offer a weekly swimming time by site. 

 

What about my Financial Aid?

Financial aid can be set-up during your membership application. It may take 7-10 days for it to process on your account.
